So far everything has worked as advertised. I removed the lid to look inside and everything looked neat and professionally put together. I tested it at half load (1500 watts) and let it run for a while, the voltage held up well. I like the fact that the fans only turn on and off when needed, not always. I only bought this as a last resort, so it's in the box until then. Cons: Battery cables are scarce. They send you 4 small wires and expect you to double them up instead of 2 correctly sized wires. Also, the ones they send don't include the caliber size. Technically, it's not code to double the wiring as suggested (unless it's used in an elevator cable, which it isn't). But for the price I think it's a good buy. I can only hope he survives. I plan on not running it above 1500 watts. The specified power of 3000 W applies to continuous operation and indicates a peak power of 6000 W.
