Very good quality. I love the level of detail on this bag. For example, the buckles on the bottom are made of a comfortable and durable material. Because they're at the bottom of the bag, they're more likely to fall off or break, so these buckles are more durable than those on the chest strap. Speaking of which, the chest straps can be removed for anyone who doesn't like/need them. There are small straps to hold other straps in place. The zippers have nice handles. There is a hidden pocket on the front that you cannot see to store a pair of sunglasses. I didn't notice this bag for several days. The laptop compartment is separated from the rest of the bag, which I really like. Nice pad for a laptop. Surprisingly, carrying a laptop, lunch, breakfast, and gym clothes (in a packing cube), this bag didn't feel overly heavy. It hugs my back well and when I ran to catch the train it didn't hang around all over the place while I ran. The water bottle holder is tight and doesn't fit really large water bottles, but that's not a problem for me.
