Due to overly straining my achilles tendon in the past playing volleyball and running long distance I need to ice it everytime after running or exercising. I keep the compress in the freezer and pull it out when I need it. I had used this thermalon product before at a friend's place and was immediately impressed, and I knew what I was buying. The soft material and the gradual way in which it ices make it a very pleasant product. I used to put some ice cubes in a plastic bag, what a hassle and what a mess. Spending the not even $40 is definitely worth it.
