When tested with a TDS & EC meter and compared to tap water. Aquacrest filtered water was 220 and tap water was 200ppm. The pH of the tap water was 7.11 and the water filtered by Aquacrest was 8.28. It seems that the water passed through the Aquacrest filter was not good in terms of filtration. But TDS can't say which minerals it's sticking to. So maybe it keeps all the good minerals and only filters out a few bad ones. Since the TDS is actually higher than tap water, it is possible that it will release some carbon from the filter. It may take a month to check whether TDS falls down or not. I felt like the Aquacrest filter was supposed to lower the TDS at least a little, but it didn't.
