I work in information technology and have spent 80% of my time on conference calls for many years. Before self-isolation, I answered hands-free calls, but now that my wife is also working from home, I needed a quieter option. I bought a pair of gaming headphones with a mic earlier this year. But they weren't wireless, and they were pretty heavy. After doing some research, I stumbled across them and decided to give it a try. The sound quality of the headphones is very good. But I really had problems with the microphone. Some specifications: I am using a Lenovo ThinkPad with Win10. My calls go through WebEx through Citrix. A difficult situation. It took me a few configuration changes in the OS and WebEx to get the mic working, but despite what my co-workers tell me, I sound like I'm speaking from the bottom of a well. I've tried adjusting the boom so it's as close to my mouth as possible and as close to my laptop as possible (I don't use a laptop. I have a Bluetooth keyboard and two ASUS USB external monitors that connect to connected to a ThinkPad dock). . I still use them but the mic quality just sucks. I've been to Avantree's support pages and tried as much of their troubleshooting as possible (I don't have admin rights in Device Manager in the OS, so not many options) but so far nothing has made me happy. The battery life is insane though, they are SUPER comfortable and I can easily wear them countless hours a day when on the phone. In general a good product. But the situation with the microphone definitely upsets me.
