First, it's now branded as the Continental Elite Poly V Belt with Quiet Channel Technology. For some reason, Goodyear must have decided they would be better off with some other marketing. The belt is similar in every way to my Gatorback belts from previous purchases, just with different markings. (same part number) Second, this is for 5.3 GM engines/trucks with a 145 amp alternator. This is also the correct belt for your truck if you are converting an electric fan to an 05-later fan and you originally had a 105 amp alternator and then bought a 145 amp alternator and are about to fit it. It is 93" long but in my opinion it would fit even better if it was a 93.25 or even 93.5" belt. My tensioner is still very close to the limit of how far it can go and still allows the belt to slide over the idler pulley. I hope the belt stretches a little. My truck has clocked 195,000 miles and I have used Goodyear Gatorback belts since I first replaced them at 100,000 miles. I went through 2 changing them at about 150k and 190k miles while doing other scheduled maintenance. The straps showed no signs of tearing or wear at the time of replacement, other than some wear on the print on the back. I actually only replaced the belt from the one I installed 5000 miles ago because I installed a 145 amp alternator and removed the original 105 amp alternator. No squeaks and squeaks NEVER!
