Update: Didn't work on 2009 Mercedes C300. It went on and off every few seconds. Bought both a resistor harness and a CAM bus harness to fix the problem but it didn't work. The item will be returned. Original post: For my 2009 Mercedes C300: Did the passenger side first: Pretty easy to install. Simply remove the ring from the bulb and attach it. Insert bulb and turn 1/4 turn. The cap for the hole doesn't fit because the bottle is a bit bigger. But the flashlight needs to be waterproof so I just removed the cover. Next - on the driver's side: open the cover to get to the light bulb. Do the same as the first side and attach the ring. I tried to insert a lightbulb but part of the lightbulb got stuck in a small protrusion holding the cover which is made of plastic. I need to flatten the bump. I took my drill with a 1/4" bit and sanded down the roughness. Now the bulb can go in all the way. But again the cover doesn't fit so doesn't need to be removed. The whole process took about 45 minutes but got it done worth getting a brighter light for only $9!
