Fits in my tool bottle!

I am using an old bottle instead of a saddlebag. It holds more things and is easier to detach and take with you. I usually don't need more than 1 bottle of water. I used to have a small cable lock with combination lock for luggage. That's not my main lock because I don't normally lock my bike. But sometimes you need a place to stop quickly, whether it's nature's call or you need to stop by a supermarket. Cables were never a good idea, but I didn't want to carry around a heavy padlock as I don't use it often. But when I saw it I decided to give it a try. And I'm glad I did because I can still pop it in my tool bottle! I have a spare 700x25c, patch kit, c02 pump, mounting lever and a mini multi tool. With that, I was able to insert this lock into the bottle. I don't really need tire levers with my wheel and tire combo, but I carry them in case someone I ride with has a narrow tire. I thought worst case scenario I could omit the levers but they fit! The chain won't withstand bolt cutters, but it will stop a side cutter that a thief carries in his trouser pocket. Cable locks are generally useless so I'm glad I found a replacement chain. The lock itself has a very low level of security. It can be easily hacked, but I don't think most thieves will try to open it. All in all, it fills the gap between a heavy-duty, high-security lock and a vulnerable cable lock in a tiny package that fits in a bottle. or a saddlebag!
