I was expecting something much higher for what we paid for this gate. We have a very active 8 month old boy so we needed something to keep him in check but more freedom than a pack and play. We're short on space and wanted to make the most of it. It turned out to be flexible. As if we could easily maneuver in our space. It is not true. Just as I was trying to set it up and square it, a few plastic connectors snapped and the plastic pieces shattered. It's not flexible in any way, and even the joints that let you tell which way they should (theoretically) flex break. The woman decided it wasn't worth bothering to return it, so we don't. Just to save yourself the hassle and shipping cost. I do not recommend this product. There should be better quality for the money.
