We have just had a puppy and as the weather is getting chilly this is the perfect item for her. It turns on and off just fine! You simply slide one front leg into the sleeve/hole, flip it up and across the back to the other front leg, slide on and secure after closing the velcro under the chest and belly. It doesn't interfere with potty walking while covering your back, sides and neck at the same time. It has a hood that can be pulled on and off when needed and has reflective material for visibility. We love the color blue, even though we have a girl, that's her color. It looks like you could just throw it in the wash and hang dry if needed. Good product at a decent price. Thumbs up!
