I took my cat in it for short walks in my neighborhood. It's hard to say if he likes it or not, but he's definitely interested in a lot of things that he sees and inspects all the time. When we get back to our apartment he looks tired, lies down for a few minutes and usually climbs back into the stretcher a few minutes later. For me it's fun and people love to watch it! We chose this carrier because it's slightly heavier (13.5 pounds) than most tote bags. It seems to have enough space for it and good airflow thanks to the vents on the top and the large, sturdy mesh window on the back.
