I've had one for two years now. Got three for the house. They make a strange buzzing, whining, humming sound of electrical currents (I don't know how best to describe it) and it's getting louder and louder. I have to unplug/unplug mornings and evenings because it's a bit annoying when it's very quiet at home. It's like a constant buzzing and murmuring. I thought it was mass produced, but now I understand that there are some subtleties in electrical engineering that can make a difference.
