Perfect cool comfort all night, no pilling, can brighten your whites!

I love white bed sheets, white bath towels, white bath mats, white hand towels, white kitchen towels, white cleaning cloths and generally white bed linen - why? Your friend in this new century. While I also love the environment, the EPA regulations have had some unintended consequences that really hurt us all. To reduce water usage, the laundry cannot be fully submerged in the new EPA-mandated limited water fill rate for washing machines (established by the EPA) unless you have a FRONT LOAD machine that turns it on its side , and there is no way to fix this with modern top-loading machines. To reduce energy consumption, hot water isn't really hot anymore - and let's face it. There are times when you need hot water. I have four children. Just use your imagination. If you have a water heater, you will never pour warm water into the washing machine itself, as the water heater will not run long enough to activate the water heater and force hot water out. Wash everything in ice water. Some machines have indoor water heaters with an allergy cycle, or you can add standalone water heaters, or run the dishwasher at the same time, or send a random kid in the shower. The bottom line is there is a real need for bleach in this new environment. And phosphates (sodium tripolyphosphate if you really want a soap to work and remove stains and remove heavy metals and suds and actually soften the laundry again, but that's another argument. If you're bored. I wrote it all the way up here. really cool read. to understand why some sheets tend to pill and "scratch" and others don't. Satin, while soft and beautiful, is only good for a short time as satin fabrics tend to pill tension fabrics. Percale, on the other hand, does This particular weave is durable, and while it doesn't have the same texture as satin, it can't be described as "rough" stretch - especially after washing with the phosphates I mentioned. Seriously folks .and Phosphates. Phosphates bind to heavy metals, making materials coarse. You used it in laundry detergent. Now it's only in your garden fertilizer and in your food. It's also a food supplements. For all fellow chemists (adenosine triphosphate - ATP). It's also in our.um.trash. For some reason the EPA only deals with soap. But hotels, restaurants and shops in general have kept it. All have soft linens. You didn't - and you don't. It's not your fault. Add it back. Once only. I don't like the word "crispy" for leaves. Crisp is like a cracker. It's just not the descriptor I need for the sheet. Although they are important. Substantial, as in "not thin paper". When you move them, they are strong enough that you can hear the material rustle a little. They're soft but without the warmth retention of satin. They're cool but not cold (and last night it was only freezing) and I still woke up happy and cozy in my sheets. But interestingly, I don't sweat, which I tend to do sometimes. - Price. The best thing about percale? The weave is such that it does not require the number of threads that satin requires. This is very important as fewer threads doesn't mean lower quality here. You will hardly find percale fabric with a high thread count. Well, when the number of threads is less, the cost of the material is lower, which means the final product is cheaper. deep pockets. They are. no lying. Serious. For the first time I don't have to use corner fasteners that break and cause a lot of inconvenience. You haven't turned your back on a corner yet. I have an air bed - that means sometimes you sit on the bed and literally pull the sheet over the top corner. They have pockets deep enough that they won't come open despite the tug. Bleaching is not a problem. First thing I did was wash them with Tide (free and clear) + added phosphates, bleach and Downy (free clear) and dry them with Bounce Dryer Sheet (free and clear). There were no issues with bleach and I didn't expect them to come with an all white fabric. to drive you crazy, then percale is probably not the best idea. I don't judge. Everyone has their own business. However, wrinkles are not such that your body only feels a "fold of tissue" when you lie down. That would be a wrong impression. I'm just saying it's like a folded cotton t-shirt in a drawer. It's not rigid, but you know it wasn't hung. Will it feel uncomfortable? nope You will see a crease. May be. yes you will will you feel it no You really are worth it. I would recommend them (in white) to everyone without hesitation. I say white because I cannot vouch for the dyeing process and color fastness of other options. You can't go wrong with white.
