How could such a bad product be made?

The item was damaged and sent by the seller.  delivery declined to accept the damaged products, providing the explanation that they are merely acting in the role of an intermediary between the buyer and the seller. Because of this, I was required to pick up the faulty item before taking it to the post office to get it repaired.  It is considered to be the selling of a purposefully faulty product as well as the misuse of money in a dishonest manner if the buyer supports a dishonest vendor and refuses to return the money that was paid.
