We got this for our daughter because she loves to make noise, she is 18 months which is less than the recommended age.
There are some things that she isn’t quite ready for yet but there are so many things that she easily found multiple things to play with! As for the durability, we just got them today but everything is well made and sturdy, it even comes with a super cute backpack to carry everything in. This would make a great gift, it seems to have the longevity that any parent with a small child would look for in a toy!
