There are many interdental brushes. The difficulty lies in choosing the right size as not all interdental brushes come in multi-packs to help you decide which size you need and you may need multiple sizes to fit all of your teeth. I think this brush is a good size for the gap between most teeth. You also get a lot of these so you can change them often to keep them hygienic. The "primary" way of using interdental brushes is as a replacement for flossing between teeth. I still prefer regular floss, even with braces, but it's more convenient to carry in my travel suitcase. It's also a good backup if you run out of thread. Most of the complaints seem to be related to this usage. I think they are suitable for this application but I have not really used any other interdental brushes to compare. the top and bottom of the braces to get the areas that a regular toothbrush doesn't miss. These brushes are ideal for this. My full braces routine is Waterpik, then interdental cleaning, then regular flossing, then regular brushing, then interdental brushing as needed. If I don't have time for a full routine, I just use an interdental brush and a regular toothbrush. My podiatrist and every dentist I've seen since my braces have complimented me on keeping my teeth clean, and I definitely think using these interdental brushes regularly to clean my braces is a big reason why. They're also inexpensive and should last about a year or so before I have to buy them again.
