This is the second pair of pillowcases I have bought. The first time I went I was looking for plain pillowcases for my bed and they fit the bill. The material is durable, not cheap, and the decorative stitching is nice and washes well. About three months after purchasing it, I bought a recliner chair and realized I needed head protection. After thinking about matching throws (too long), towels (too cheap looking), and doing things myself (too much time), I realized these cushionless cushions would be the perfect fabric protectors for my chairs. So I bought them to match the color of the furniture, washed them upon receipt and dressed them. They look fantastic and are exactly what I was looking for. So do it either way, I've found a winner and I'm very happy with the quality of the fabric and the detail in the stitching/quilting. They look really good both on the bed and on my loveseat.
