Review on 🔋 WZRELB 5000W 12V Pure Sine Wave Power Inverter - Solar, RV, DC to AC Power by Jarod Lacy

This refurbished 5000w inverter replaces a 3000w inverter of the same brand. There is nothing wrong with a 3000W inverter; I've had it for many years and it's still working great... will keep as a backup or for a new future solar project. Aside from a few notches on the top of the case, this 5000 watt inverter certainly looks great and performs well. It supplies power to various circuits in the house, including the LG fridge, via an automatic switch. The automatic switching was installed about 10 years ago, but I installed a separate and larger emergency generator connection, so it was never used. Based on the previous inverter of the same brand that it replaced and because it worked as described from the start I will give it a five star rating. The case is similar to the 3000 watt inverter except it's about four inches longer... I suspect the larger case provides better cooling. It comes with battery cables, but they are no thicker than 10 AWG. Instead I use 2 AWG battery cables to ensure there are no heat issues. I'm using 10/3 AWG solid wire to connect the inverter to the transfer switch. While the connections seem to work better for stranded wire, I don't see any problems using solid wire... just need to be careful when tightening the screws... apply even pressure and make sure they're tight. Now since this is a 120 volt inverter, not a 240 volt inverter, and I'm using 10/3 wire, I connected the red and black wires to the same positive terminal on the inverter. This provides power to both sides of the switch, which is necessary for the operation of all connected 120 volt circuits. No 240 volt circuit is required at the switch. The inverter is placed on a shelf above four AGM solar panels. . I placed two pieces of tubing that I had under the inverter to give it more room for better airflow. At this point I have to say that I am very satisfied with my purchase. It is said to have been refurbished so only time will tell how long it will last, but appears to be in excellent condition. As I said before, based on my experience with inverters of this brand, I recommend it.
