so i bought these because all the reviews said the light was pretty soft and good for night lighting. I have 1 night light that I have always had and it is a very faint glow and I was hoping these lights would be like this but they are not. These lights are actually quite bright - they work like a night in a child's room. an alternative to the light, but as an adult I don't want that light in my room - it's too bright. I compare the brightness of these lights to the power button on your computer or the print button on your desktop printer - bright enough to be distracting when trying to sleep. If bright lights don't bother you they can work but I had to bring them downstairs where they each light up the whole room slightly.
