These cups appear to dissolve on contact with liquid. One of the first things I put in the cup was rubbing alcohol with some hot water and I realized the cup didn't hold the alcohol for more than 30 seconds. That's when I filled it with tap water and when I came back after a while I found that the cup was starting to crumble. If they can't hold water, I'm not sure what purpose they serve.
