This case has a more business feel to it. It has some high hitting power - probably a 3 on a scale out of 5, with 5 being the best defense. Aside from being the base layer and the minimal waterproof coverage that can be implied, there's nothing waterproof about this case. This is the second one I've bought. It is as advertised. If there's one thing I could have a little trouble with, it's the top "strap" that holds the top of the screen to the lid. As the cover ages, these straps become longer and looser, which inevitably causes the cover to detach and fall off the screen where it is attached. It usually takes a long time for stretch to come into play. If I had to tell the manufacturer something, it would be a slightly thicker caliber or material for these straps. Otherwise I like the cover.
