We use this on our wooden front door which gets sun 3 months a year. Although it is closed, in winter the sun penetrates and dries out the door. After two costly repaints over the course of 4 years we decided to try another option. The artist removed the door and we really liked the look so we asked him to just glue it down. The first rain smelled damp so we knew it wasn't sealed properly. So we searched and decided to give it a try, we've worn it about twice a year and now the door is amazing and protected with extra UV protection. We've left it natural with some old stains in the grooves, giving it a nice rustic look. We've been using it exclusively on doors for 10 years and it holds up well to the weather. We recommend this to everyone.
