I have ordered two sets of lenses for my frame which I have had for many years. The first pair was the bronze polarized elite and the second pair was the black polarized. The black color matched the tint of my original Oakley polarized lenses but was slightly thinner than the OEM lenses. The Bronze Elite has an extra layer (purple tint) on the back of the lens and I found it glared on my cheek in certain situations. In terms of installation, the screwdriver that comes with each pair of lenses is correct. size and did the job. I watched a video on replacing lenses on a rope (also made by the seller) and it came in handy. It took me a heck of a lot of time to reassemble one side of my frame and the screw is FUCKING tiny! I don't know who brought them to Oakley, but they must have very strong and graceful fingers. I ended up using needle nose pliers to get the necessary pressure and torque to line up the frames on the problem side. I don't recommend it but I'm impatient. Basically, I love my rope frames too much to throw them away right now. Although this option is a 10 or 15 minute disappointment, it's cheaper (even if you buy 2 sets!) and gives them new life. I'm going to have my lenses replaced in a straight OG shirt.
