My car occasionally smelled like burnt oil when accelerating quickly. Upon inspection, I noticed oil stains around the engine valve cover and in the spark plug holes. Decided to change the gaskets and spark plugs at the same time. For the spark plugs I used original accessories: NGK (6458) PFR6Q Laser Platinum spark plugs. For instructions and advice on changing seals I used your tube. There are many videos out there so select a few to familiarize yourself with the potential obstacles that can arise when removing a valve cover. Simply remove bolts, screws and hoses whenever possible instead of just bending them to the side. This helps avoid accidents with broken parts. In any case, after removing the valve cover, I cleaned as much dirty oil as possible from all parts, including the engine and valve cover mating surfaces. I took special care to ensure that no dirt or other foreign matter got into the open motor. Installation at this stage is easy; However, because the parts of the gasket are rigid, it must be installed evenly over the valve cover bolts. It doesn't take much effort to do this, so just gently put it back on. The 9 valve cover nuts should be tightened in a criss-cross pattern to ensure even pressure on the valve cover. Nuts should be tightened to 7 ft.lbs. I didn't have a torque wrench small enough, so I tried to tighten it evenly and not use too much force - 7 feet per pound. the torque is small, so do not overtighten. The quality of the Fel-Pro pads proved to be just as good as the original pads I replaced and they fit perfectly too. I definitely recommend it.
