Yes, that's right. Reports are not hype. This brush appears to be as close to, or even equal to, a silver tip. for a fraction of the price. The soft tips but strong stand might make this brush even better in terms of feel and performance. It also foams easily and is reported by others to keep a boat out of water. But I have some concerns about this brush. Coating, wet or dry, not dense. I expect a dense finish from a brush that has to compete with high-end brushes from other brands. On the other hand, my hair happens to be sticking out on the sides on EJ Super Badger. Additionally, having only used this brush 2 dozen times, I lose a few hairs per shave. I hope I'm lucky. a bush tied up by some guy on his first day at the factory who was struggling with a hangover and might even be a little drunk from last night. Otherwise the brush would have gotten 5 stars from me. and I would get another one to replace my "clean" travel brush. Hell I still might. they are pretty cheap!
