Review on Cable Matters 2-Pack HDMI to DVI Adapter - Enhancing Digital Connectivity with DVI to HDMI Adapter by Solomon Baron

I read all the reviews, read the description, it turned out to be a lot and good quality. For some reason I ran an HDMI cable to a DVI adapter, plugged it in, and plugged the adapter into my (Dell) computer monitor. However, the laptop does not recognize the connection. (The connection was detected via an HDMI cable to a Silvania Desktop TV (HDMI)). Wanted to use another Dell monitor for better resolution for reading screen etc but no luck. Will have to return. I'm disappointed.
