I have read all the reviews saying they are too big, stiff, uncomfortable, squeaky etc. All of this is true. Most reviews said to order a size down but surprisingly my pair was too small. I've been wearing them for a few days now hoping they'll break, but I had to give them up and look for something else. I'm sad, I really wanted these shoes to work. Merrell used to be my favorite hiking shoe but the quality has dropped over the years.
