Review on Dorman 902-207 Air Door Actuator: Efficient & Sleek in Black by Wagner Witlin

Ordered to fit when replacing the heater core on a 2001 Ford F150. The quality looked very good and as mentioned it has a socket which is a great way to avoid this in the future. Why 3 stars? In my case it did not fit flush with the heater core frame. It had a gap of about 1/8-1/4 inch. I could probably just sand down the limiting plastic that defines the range of motion. However, I only used the sleeve and came back with a Motorcraft door. The main reason I wrote this review is to remind everyone to carefully check the fit and range of motion between the door and the plastic frame of the heater core. It must close tightly, otherwise there will be heat leaks when it cools down. Since this job requires at least 5-6 hours of work, you don't want to go back there. Hope that helps.
