I've had this for about a year. I have no idea why I bought it, probably on a "you can buy this while I ship other stuff" basis. I can tell you it was absolutely worth the money. I thought I spent $8 or $9 but now I see it's only $4. So I think it's worth MORE than what I paid for. Click.click-click.clickety-clack. aaannndd, now I have 2. Yes, I bought another "strong ice ax". Hey, I can't say I have NOT used it on ice. To be honest, this is a very powerful tool that has saved me from heartache. I've used it to mark boards for length (not great as it doesn't separate fibers), drill initial holes in wood AND metal, and use it (currently) to hold nuts, washers and other small parts so I can wiring can brush off dirt and rust. It's an essential tool, and now I understand why Jimmy DiResta carries an ice pick (he calls it that, not me).
