By itself, this product is very inconvenient. Leaning on it for more than 30 seconds hurts. With the help of the sticky foam padding, I was able to get quite comfortable. To modify it I used a box cutter to cut out the tiny layer of foam that this product comes with and replaced it with 1/2 foam that I purchased from another seller. 1/2 inch is almost the same height as the wrist pad so you can use 1/4 foam. It sucks to spend extra money to make it usable, but once it's there it does exactly what I need it to do.
