For top-loading washing machines, simply throw in the dye bag, add salt and run the wash. iDye Poly offers the perfect way to get great colors! For use on polyester, nylon and synthetic fabrics. Each pack will dye 2-3 pounds of fabric EXCEPT THIS IS NOT FOR WASHING MACHINE USE! Completely misleading. That's why I bought it! Instead, the instructions clearly state that you have to cook it on YOUR STOVE in a pot. I tried it in the washing machine anyway and it looked terrible. No wonder.
