Not all stainless steel
Excellent hook and eye. Made from very thick stainless steel wire. Unfortunately, it looks like the hinges on the two lugs (the parts that screw into place) aren't stainless steel. They are strongly attracted to a good magnet. Stainless steel is practically not attracted to a magnet. The four screws, the hook and the bases of the two eyelet fasteners are made of stainless steel. That's why I rated the product four stars.
