This pillow does exactly what it is advertised to do. Unfortunately, most of the bad reviews I read before purchasing this pillow are either (a) misunderstood, or (b) I didn't read all of the ads. This pillow is firm and dense. You won't use this for a pillow fight unless you're Batman and want to knock out your opponent with the first punch. Many reviews say this pillow is hard. It does, but it lets your head sink into it, just like memory foam should. And it returns to its original shape when you lift your head from the pillow. The cool gel works despite many reviews. That's the problem. A lot of people think that "cool gel" means your head is chilled, like you're stuck in a freezer. NOT CORRECT. Anyone who reads a little will understand that this gel helps distribute the heat from your head throughout the pillow, so the pillow doesn't feel as warm as a regular pillow in similar conditions.
