It's getting very cold & snowy in the Upper Midwest & this little number is really perfect! It's light weight but the filling in the coat makes it very warm for my dog. It is water proof, however if your dog is out for any length of time in freezing rain or really wet snow, the jacket will feel wet on the outside but my furbaby is perfectly dry on the inside. This coat has a furry collar, several colors & sizes to choose from. I have a Shih Tzu & she has a long body in proportion to her hight. This coat is great bc it comes all the way back to her fanny & I did find it true to size. I recommend this coat!
