Paper dolls are still in fashion!

Sent to a family friend's granddaughter who is only 5 years old. She has NEVER seen, heard or played with paper dolls! I myself, 56 years old, played with paper dolls a bit when I was young. First of all, I liked cutting everything out of the book. It was great learning my manual dexterity and honing that talent when I entered kindergarten. Adjusting the dolls was a bit of a challenge, but then it takes your wits to figure out how to store the clothes and what outfit to wear with coats and shoes. I could play for hours and thank god I didn't have a sister to share with. I don't think my brothers would care about my paper dolls... you have to behave like a good girl. I haven't played them lately, so I'm not sure how they are attached these days, but in my day, dolls had magnets, and you taped magnets onto the doll from the back of their clothes to the front of their bodies. . Tac to Tac… We have other brands that had paperclips at the top of the arms to bend and hold them against the doll and I used paperclips too when I was younger. Our friend says her daughter LOVES her paper dolls and wants to take them to school but toys are banned at school due to the pandemic. She told all her friends about it and some moms called her and asked where they could get them. MY GOD! Some mothers have never seen them! are you kidding me Well, there will be a keen demand for paper dolls again! Maybe they will be the most famous again for Christmas! Haha Have fun!
