
This sensor registers the difference between additives in liquids. I tested this sensor with tap water and coffee and found that the sensor actually returns different values. I've also found that a mixture of coffee and water gives readings between pure water and coffee, so this reading will definitely change based on the purity of the water. I found that the purer the water, the higher the reading, and the less pure it was, the lower the reading. I've also noticed that I get different readings when I measure the amount of coffee, that I add to the coffee and water combination. So I think this sensor can detect quite small changes in the difference in water purity. I note
