I have a 2000 Tundra. If you're familiar with the dashboard where the radio sits, there's no convenient place to mount the phone. The vents move easily to use the vent clip mount and the watch is too low to use a magnetic mount. This is IDEAL for the left side of the handlebar only. I used it for 24 hours and had no problems, but I waited up to 48 hours to use it for a longer ride. I have a slightly larger phone (Samsung S10+, not super heavy but big). The phone stayed in place. I never thought it would lean, fall out, etc. PROS: sticky. This thing isn't going anywhere. I love that it has pins at the bottom to hold the phone. The pull/insert function is very smooth. Adjustable (up, out and tilt). And stays in place when you tighten it. (I had a few that I put on and the phone was still leaning down or to the side.) The mount seems solid doesn't work (see pic), that's what you want. I chose the left side of the steering wheel as it doesn't interfere with the operation of the radio, deflector but doesn't interfere with driving!
