This mezzanine is a great purchase! First because you can't match its decent price and the included lid (many don't include it!). The blade is honestly not the pinnacle of quality but for the money you pay it is definitely worth it and should last a long time with proper care! It's durable and has a decent edge that will get most work done. I haven't sharpened it yet so I don't know how it will sharpen but I don't think this steel will be too difficult but we'll see. Second, great service! That's why this review gets a full five stars! I didn't get the bonus stainless steel soap at first and the company owner went out of their way to fix it! In summary, I think this is a worthy product and I am very happy with the customer service!
