Installed in my The 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0L was easy. Under the hood: battery disconnected. I removed the power supply (it appears to be a 12mm socket) and ground (the paddle removed) from the starter. Under Jeep: Two mounting screws removed. One in front and one behind the starter. (Nut 9/16 and 15 mm) Removed the old starter and installed a new one. Under the hood: power and ground connected to the new starter motor. Connected the cable to the battery. easily accessible The starter is on the passenger side near the front wheel A very easy replacement. I took my time and it took about 15 minutes from start to finish. The starter works very well. Spins much faster than the old one. I installed it on 05/25/19 and will update this review if I have problems with it later. Very happy with the price I paid. ($64.27 as of May 21, 2019)
