This item looks great for the money. It is durable and easily carries a heavy coat or backpack as the legs are 12 inches apart. The color is dark cherry and the hooks have a nice matte (nickel) finish. I had previously bought a small Winsome CD cabinet and because I was very happy with it I decided on this unit. This unit, like the CD cabinet, was made in Thailand and for the most part is well made.It was well packaged and therefore arrived without defects. All parts were in stock and undamaged. In mint condition, I always check before doing anything. The instructions were clear and I was able to assemble it with minimal swearing. I'm terrible with my hands, if there's a way to mess it up I'll find it, but I haven't found it on this unit. They had their own jokes. mil meter, but woe to you if you get it wrong (like I did at first) because things won't line up. Also, the bottom screw hole on each hook is partially blocked by the hook itself, making things "more complicated" (explosives removed). Overall I am very satisfied and can recommend this device. Four stars not five because he didn't assemble it himself.
