Not the best choice for the Echo and your stereo.
I hooked up this and another preamp, Pyle, for use with the Echo and my stereo because the Echo just couldn't deliver enough power for my inputs. The Pyle works well, but since it doesn't have a volume control, the audio gets heavily distorted when Alexa goes above 50% volume and I was hoping this would work better. It didn't and the audio was very confusing. I will also try a Bluetooth receiver to see if it works better as I have already connected an Echo to a powered speaker with BT and it works great.
