For less than $20, I wasn't expecting too much, but this knife has been fantastic.I forage, hike, kayak, collect mushrooms, and spend a fair amount of time in the forest. I wanted a basic knife that wasn't too expensive and I could use for a multitude of purposes - this has been that knife.I've used this for delicately cutting mushrooms from the ground as well as hacking down a small 1 inch diameter tree, cutting off all the branches, and carving it into my hiking stick.The fluorescent orange handle and belt case are wonderful for visibility if the knife gets misplaced. It is also quite visible under 5 feet of water, as I found out on a kayak trip this past summer. The belt holder works fine and the knife snaps into the holder and stays there, even after a full year of use.If I ever lost this knife, I would replace it with another of these - customer for life and very happy with this purchase.
