If you are unsure whether to buy a TOTO part or a genuine part at 1/3 the price, BUY TOTO! I've bought generic parts over the years and always ended up ordering a genuine TOTO part after the generic didn't work 100% and it was driving me crazy. There is no comparison between a TOTO toilet operated with original parts and a TOTO toilet operated with cheaper parts. Remember when your TOTO was new and it was great? This is something you no longer have when you order a standard replacement. This part replaced the regular check valve which was just awful.
