I use brushes very often for cleaning. I don't know why, but I think in many cases I find them more effective than things like sponges or rags. Car interiors, boots, ax sheaths and the like. To me, a nylon brush is more of a "roughness" tool, like brushing dried mud off shoes. After that, it can be washed like new, so I don't have to worry about submerging it in water or soiling it with non-greasy dirt like dirt. Using water with it, I certainly don't. Jobs like dusting, loosening dirt in crevices, grains and seams when vacuuming, or enhancing a waxed finish after removing most of the dried wax. The quality of this work is simply outstanding and I would rate it as 'reliable'. I expect them to last as long as I have for the occasional use they have for cleaning our car interiors and doing other odd jobs with leather items like boots, ax sheaths etc. The hair does fall out a bit initially, but I assume that's just an artifact of the production process if all the hair in the bun didn't reach the tie hole. It was less than 1/10 of 1% of the hair and not noticeable at all in thickness or brush effect. more interested in getting something that works the first time than in saving $1.50 by getting a 10% lower price somewhere.
