Good shoes; take one size larger than your shoe size
I needed running shoes (2-3 miles a day, 4-5 times a week) and they fit me. It's soft on the bottom and fairly flexible in the outsole. I wear a dress 8 or 8.5 for shows but I wear a 9 for Saucony.
