Pleasantly surprised!

I'm glad I dismissed all the negative reviews as my reaction to these mats reflects the high reviews. I drive a newer Mercedes 250 GLA; We also live in Boston. Between winter and children; I shampoo all the time. I decided to test these mats. I was skeptical at first, but I was satisfied. It doesn't smell, the bluing is rather faint - I'm anal and I can take it. The back fit overlaps a bit but for me it holds Cheerios and other baby stuff perfectly. Chocolate milk seems to be easier to care for than carpets.
