Review on 🐱 NOW Pet Health L-Lysine Cat Supplement: Powder Formula, NASC Certified, 8-Ounce by Jamie Smith

This is a GREAT product! I have the world's pickiest 14 year old kitten who has the feline herpes virus. My vet recommended L-lysine. I've tried chewing gum and L-lysine in a syringe. My cat has never touched it. Many L-lysine products contain flavors and ingredients. I was looking for regular L-lysine powder with no other flavors, artificial or inactive ingredients. This product was the perfect choice. From the bottle label: The active ingredient per 1/8 teaspoon of powder is L-lysine hydrochloride 276 mg. There are no other ingredients. I only add 1/8 teaspoon (as directed) to her wet food twice a day and she eats with no problems. The powder dissolves very easily and quickly in their wet food. She had no indigestion or diarrhea. No side effects. I also like that this product has a security seal on both the main lid and the inside. Other brands have no seals. I would never give my kitty anything that isn't sealed! Other key benefits of this product that are listed on the bottle (which you don't see in the photo): 1) it is administered by renowned veterinarian Dr. Barbara Royal, DVM, CVA, Founder of the Royal Veterinary Treatment Center, and 2) It is NASC (National Council on Animal Supplements) certified. So I really trust this product! By the way, this product comes in an 8 ounce bottle. The name of this product is a bit misleading as it says "8 Count". You only get one 8 ounce bottle (which lasts a really long time!). Also, I bought this bottle in February 2016 and the expiration date is 9/2018.
