Bright eyes and fluffy tail

My kitten was having problems with conjunctivitis, but the vet wasn't 100% sure it was a symptom of the feline herpes virus. So, like any loving pet owner, I did a little research and found that L-lysine can be helpful. After many weeks it has really improved my eye problems. He has bright eyes and a fluffy tail!

Perfect for our cat and with two safety caps on the bottle!

We are very happy with the quality of Now Pets Foods L-Lysine Powder, 8 pcs. As instructed, we give our cat 1/8 teaspoon mornings and evenings along with her wet food. This amount is less than others and the bottle lasts for a while. So it helps because she is very picky when it comes to adding anything to her food. That's the only L-lysine she can tolerate. Best of all, this product has two security seals to protect it. One seal is on the main cover and the other is an internal peel-off seal…

The cat is much better!

What a difference! The vet told me about the use of lysine for a viral infection. The cat treats that the vet had were quite expensive, plus the cat really liked them and I was afraid that she would climb into the closet and overeat. This powder is more like tiny granules. He doesn't slip. At first we only sprinkled them with wet food. We find that the cat prefers that we mix it; never mind. What is amazing is the energy boost we see! Our 1 year old cat was sleeping all the time and stopped…

Suitable for some kittens, NOT for all!

I give my kittens about 2 months, now they are 8 months old. My boy has lost hair on his shoulders but my girl is fine. Winston, my feline son, hid all day and seemed melancholy the whole time. He came out at night to snuggle up against my chest, but that was about it. If he could, he could lie on me for hours at night, but during the day he was absent. I decided to stop giving them lysine as it causes allergic reactions in some cats. Today is the 3rd day without Lysine and yesterday I already…

Worked very well for feral cats

I feed a group of feral cats that hang around my house. I noticed in early spring (I think it was March) that one of them had a lot of discharge from her eyes, and they were so swollen the poor thing couldn't see. I could tell from her movements that she wasn't feeling well, and cats are usually pretty tough. I didn't think she would survive because it made her so vulnerable and hampered her ability to hunt. I started adding lysine to the food she took me and after a week her eyes became…

If you love your cat, DO NOT feed them this poison!

Hello, In the interest of cat health and welfare I am compelled to write this review. I genuinely believe this product is either fake or somehow contaminated with something toxic to cats. Let me clear that up. Lysine itself is an amazing product for cats. It can literally save a life. In addition to my 5 house cats, I "sponsor" two stray cats that came with my house. One of them needed urgent veterinary care. He had a viral infection, he was deathly thin, panting, his eyes were swollen, blood…

It saves our newborn kittens and keeps our older cats healthy!

blown upper respiratory infection. At that time I had a mother cat and six babies - rescued from a day care center - who were exposed to the calicivirus. The vet said it's possible they'll need to take lysine every day for the rest of their lives. I tried several brands - Vetoquinol, TomLyn, a few off-brand brands - because once I settled on one, the price skyrocketed, forcing me to look for a new affordable brand. Eventually, NOW Foods began manufacturing its products. their own version of…

Our cat Casey had a serious problem: she sneezed snot every day, all day. I literally followed him every time to wash the floor, walls, curtains, etc. This went on for several months and I was very worried about our cat's health. It got to the point where he had a runny nose, snot was collecting in his nose and I could literally hear him breathing and sniffling. So everything he had progressed and was getting worse. I've been worrying so much. I ended up taking him to the vet where he was given

EXCELLENT GOODS! Best Supplements & Vitamins

This is a GREAT product! I have the world's pickiest 14 year old kitten who has the feline herpes virus. My vet recommended L-lysine. I've tried chewing gum and L-lysine in a syringe. My cat has never touched it. Many L-lysine products contain flavors and ingredients. I was looking for regular L-lysine powder with no other flavors, artificial or inactive ingredients. This product was the perfect choice. From the bottle label: The active ingredient per 1/8 teaspoon of powder is L-lysine…
