Review on BESENERGY 32 Amp EV Charger: Upgraded Portable Charging Station for All J1772 EV Cars by Lance Alvarez

I have used this power supply many times. Connecting and charging my Chevy Bolt is very easy. This is at least 10 times faster than the 120 volt charger that came with the car. After using this product for about 6 months I noticed that the included 14-50 plug along with the adjacent 6 inch power cord gets very hot. I also noticed that the controller itself says 50 Hertz. Depending on your research, this may or may not be acceptable for electronic components. Regardless, every electrical device sold in the United States is marked 60 Hz or 50/60 Hz. When contacting the manufacturer, they basically explained that regardless of the Hertz label, this device is fine and that heat can be my outlet. This is not my way out. So I changed my star rating. Conclusion: I would not buy this product again.
