Great for making lapel pins!
I use them to make unique buttons for sweaters that don't have buttons for a cardigan effect. So far they've held up very well, apart from the fact that I've used hot glue to stick the buttons on when I really had to use a product like the E6000. I'll repeat them with the E6000 in a day or two, but the zippers themselves work very well, even through thicker fabric.
